Hi all!!

Well, it’s finally here. The biggest game of the year. The blockbuster. The most important date in the AGR calendar. If you’re new here, welcome. Before we go any further, get your diaries out, and let’s focus on the most important thing – the time and date of this event:

How: Download the AGR client here, and tell people you will be busy this Sunday!!

Who: Quake fans, AGR fans, MegaTF fans, TF fans, TF2 fans, CustomTF Fans, CTF fans, any fan of team-oriented, FPS Action! Also, Quake modders and curious newbies who want to see something *new*, and see wtf all the fuss is about!

Why: If you have to ask, I’ll assume you’ve never heard of Rock2ober – so stop reading,  and check out the Rock2ober FAQ. Back? Ok, let’s proceed:

Rock2ober 2023 is upon us!  Once again, we attempt to FILL a server with 32 hard-core killers, all gathered at the same time, in the same place, to battle it out in the most gruesome and punishingly MASSIVE Q1 Team Fortress event. Whether you’re a devoted AGR Maniac, a critic, or a newbie, if you just love your TF Action anyway you can get it, this is your chance to make history, and experience Attackers Go Red in all its Gory Glory. If you want a preview, get your heart pumping by feasting on the blockbuster Rock2ober 2015 Movie part1, Rock2ober 2014 Movie part1, and Part 2!!

The Weekly AGR Sessions have going for 15 YEARS STRAIGHT. We’ve cracked 32 people before, and we can do it again. To experience that VERY special 32 player “full server” feeling, I’m once again reaching out beyond AttackersGoRed, to the wider world of TF players. Vanilla TF, Classic CustomTF, Fortress One, MegaTF, CTF, or TWCTF – for an event this big, I know all TF players, of ALL genres will want to be there. Yes, AGR is ‘different’ but hey, the core idea is ‘Blue defends flag’ / ‘Red captures flag’, so anyone who has ever played Team Fortress will be up to speed in no time. So, don’t miss out on a rare opportunity to play in a 32 player game in 2023, ok? YOU can help make this happen by spreading the word about Rock2ober 2023 to EVERY Quake player you know, current and retired. Release your inner spam merchant! They WILL thank you for it. ps. VOICE CHAT
Yes discord is popular in 2023, BUT but AGR has built in voip, and voice chat is recorded into the demos as well! Your descendants will be hearing your voice in a thousand years! Note: if anyone is being a dickhead during the game: a: type ‘users’, b: get their id number, and c: at the console, type “ignore <id number>”. Easey Peasey.

In the chance we DO get 32 players(!), it *probably* won’t stay at 32 for long, so just reconnect.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
AGR uses the cutting edge FTE game engine and has some ‘new tech’ which can occasionally be um.. ‘quirky’, so I STRONGLY advise you to connect to the server BEFORE the day of the game, to make sure everything is 100%.  There will be a Testing Session 24 hours before (Saturday 28th, 7pm EST). Also, you can contact me (onemanclan@attackersgored.com) if you have any issues or questions. NOTE: there will be NO tech support on the day (because I’ll be playing!)
