We use a voice chat ventrillo for voice chat during AGR games. Download it, install it, and connect to 78.129.193.9, port 4298, AGR (Red+Blue) channels. Password is sent to those on the AGR Mailing List, but if you ask nicely during the game, someone might help you out.

DEMO ARCHIVE
We have quite a large collection of demos now, and I’ve started only uploading those which seem to be GGs. Otoh, it’s all subjective, so if anyone has any ideas as to how to best store/label/identify/rate the demos that would be great. They are actually really entertaining, though there are so many of them now, its hard to recommend to a newbie which one to watch – any ideas??

Next week, will be the premiere of something very VERY SPECIAL!! I didn’t know whether to tell people, or just make it a surprise, so here’s the compromise.. That way, YOU, loyal reader, and fellow TRUE fan of AGR can get the inside info, and those ‘others’ can just go ‘wtf’?!?! 🙂 I don’t know how much I want to say for now..     hello, just back from city center, saw lot of sweden people and stuff, tomorrow euro-2012 Sweden vs Ukraine, in Kiev is super fine now, best time for visiting, lot of football funs, tourists, tons of ukrainian chicks, not sure if they just walking around or wanna meet foreign men) Small football festival and fun. Don’t like football but it’s kinda event of the year for Ukraine.

    sewer1p – use zone based D, be responsible for key areas on map, damage/kill enemies, report status but do not chase enemies not in your area/zone, just a bit help teammates in neighboring areas. spread the map, don’t stay in one place. the key place is RR – tube, RR (spawn), top spirals, some guyz can damage in front, a bit FR engi stuff, tele to FR is essential, one guy should run whole map, freelance style – find enemy teles and help team mates.

    OMC, wallmart is retarded map, it’s ffs style, run from pot A to point b, flat, cap. silly action. if it is not players pick map, may be we can replace it.

    Hey Saph, I’m not really into football either but I’ve been watching the Euro 2012 games so far. I hope the England fans behave themselves this time.

    Agreed, Wallmart is a terrible AGR map. Might I suggest any of these: 1fool1a, 2machb, church, dkeep2, fcast, xpress3, flib10b, rstrong, north1, frozen etc etc

    If I get some time I’ll try make some highlights of games as there are moments of really good TF going on.

    Walmart feels too much like team dm, have to agree with that.

    As far as defending Sewer1p, if I remember correctly that is a BIG map. To cover large rooms, having a turretized sentrygun and a defender who can harass enemies who try to edge the gun works well.

    With so many entrances to defend, you definitely want to fortify and man the areas immediately adjacent to the flag room so that anyone who grabs the flag will have to FIGHT their way out rather than simply evading the defense at the flag and forcing defenders to chase them.

    Pipebombs and mines have always been effective tools for crippling or killing enemies before they move through these zones. I do recommend some sentries or teslas within sight of the flag, but placed as far into the adjacent rooms as possible to cover the largest area they can.

    Summons like soldiers and demons are best for trapping hallways where they will be difficult to get past- a defender will need to cover an area adjacent to where these summons are placed (either in front of the area or behind the area) because summons will be spammed frequently since it’s the quickest way to clear them.

    If you’re buying summons, you can enhance their effectiveness by grabbing a scanner, airfist, or medikit- similarly builds benefit from someone nearby who is able to take a moment in between attacks to repair them up with the wrench.

    Obviously I could talk strategy all day…but I won’t. GL and peace out.
