The Slaughter Match

Hey people!

Ok things are hotting up.. Last week was a great improvement turnout wise, and we actually managed to get some semblance of an ‘BIG’ game; and although the game itself (well6) was notable  for being a disgraceful slaughter match, it was nonetheless a very entertaining and satisfying one. Still .. what went wrong?

Well, tempting as it is to ‘blame the newbies’, the fact is, I’m guilty of some bad decisions. Firstly, I didn’t take responsibility for closing/detting the water hole. Some communication w teammates would have helped too. Finally, I got frustrated due to my builds being constantly destroyed in the FR area, and switched to Army Soldiers.  If I could keep one alive long enough, he could have gotten a rocket launcher, but of course by then Red was capping and capping, and ugh…  noticed the water path had been closed for a while, so I abandoned the FR area and in a moment of nostalgic sillyness, switched to an old skool well6 D: SG above the RR, just like it was original TF circa 1996.  There’s a time to experiment, and try new/old things, but this WASN’T it. Blue was already losing, and we needed ‘tried and true’ rock solid techniques that have been PROVEN affective. Anyway, it’s done now, and hey .. it was fun trying. 🙂 Here’s the demo for those who haven’t seen it.

We had a few absences due to the Superbowl (which apparently was also a slaughter match),  so I expect a much improved turnout from the Americans this week … *fingers crossed*. Anyway, there it is.. will this weeks Session fizzle? Or will it EXPLODE? There’s only one way for you to find out: show up ( on time! :)), at this weeks:
