Preliminary testing is now complete, and the first AGR Session to officially record voice 2 demo will be July 14th 2013. If all goes well, Ventrillo will no longer be used.
Note: To use voice with AGR, you must be registered.
Most voip controls in FTE are in options-> audio options-> voice options. In addition:
cl_voip_play 1 // 1 = voip on (default). 0 = voip off
cmd voicetarg all // to talk to everyone
cmd voicetarg team // talk only to teammates (default)
vignore <playername> // mutes a particular player’s voice (the regular ignore command mutes both).
EZQuake users need to do the following:
1. Download this , extract, and locate libspeex.dll and libspeexdsp.dll.
2. Copy these two files to the directory which contains your quake exe.
3. Check out the EZQuake voip related instructions.
