Weekly AGR Session: 24th March 2013

Hey people!!!

No video this week. And no AGRv4. Work on AGRv4 has been going EXCELLENTLY(!!!), but after last week’s disaster I don’t want to take ANY chances – so this week will be played w good old AGRv3, possibly for the last time. I’ll be putting out a detailed post in a few days with download info, to let everyone know exactly what’s going on, and to give everyone plenty of time to download all the new stuff, and get back to me with any errors. Meanwhile, I look forward to some good ol’ TF Insanity, at that Ruthless place of Reckoning we all know as the:

    Hello,
I dont like pre scheduled map choice.
Why someone know better what maps players want to play. Why it is forced.

Better make such rule – every session we 4 pick random trusted players and order they pick map from. For ex map picker (coin toss) for session assigned to:
    1st map: KOP
    2nd map: SirWolf
    3th map: StanTheMon
    4th map: OMC

p.s. Yes, map voting is ON but it is not working right

Nice session, but OMC, it is need to do something with cheaters/hackers using speed hacks and AA under unregistered names, but those names are known.

So, 1foll1a shown us that brainless red team play even with AA sniping and speed hacks is nothing against blue pre-organized def.

And please reduce (think over it) custom money to $9.000 to prevent using commandos style not balanced CHEAP (also knows as KOPs :-)) classes. At my point, custom classes should be more specialized in order to keep team fortress approach, team play idea, helping team mates, co-attacking/defending. Preventing players playing alone using custom classes bugs and not organized defense (no communication)

For ex. Haze can buy 150 armor, GL, MIRV, EMP, AIR-fist + stuff and play alone. It is universal class – speed, weapons. Tf approach was not that. Or you got speed and light/spy armor/weapons/abilities or slow speed but nice weapons, not both at the same time – its is not about teamplay – its is about Frags Friday madness. No need to program tons of features, reducing money amount is so easy. In order makes gameplay looks more like TF.

And disable grapple plz or one-shot-grapple plz. Escaping with flag using grapple is kinda cheating. And players who use ‘cheap’ tactics aren’t smart its kind of trolling. Cause defending against unusual classes needs great team coordination that is disabled on AGR public non-serious matches. For me using cheap tactics with 300 armor no weapon = grapple is like overusing bug in game but its on cheap players conscience. Such ‘cheap’ player using flawless in custom classes and overall not organized defense to gain more morale bonuses :-), it is hidden trolling but such a player do not understand it.

So please one-grapple-shot 🙂 – lets teach someone 🙂 using more skill rather lack/bug in game. There are many of such bugs in custom classes – for ex. using RL+GL or psyionic with knifer etc.

But at my point best is reducing custom money to $9.000.

P.S. BTW found out best antiCol.Kurz weapon – psionic pill grenades – blow out fire, try it 🙂
p.s.s OMC, and dont forget to permaban by IP AA unregistered cheaters 🙂
